G & D originated in July of 1982, as a sales agency covering the drug, grocery, and mass merchandise stores in Ottawa and Northern Ontario.The originators of the company, Garry & Deb Coburn, divided their talents, with Garry doing the selling, and Deb processing the paperwork. The company did extremely well in Ottawa, with excellent relationships built up at store level. Soon, G& D had expanded to 5 people, still just covering Ottawa and Northern Ontario.

In February of 1998, G&D expanded its sales force to provide store level sales coverage throughout Ontario, as well as a Key Account Manager, based in Toronto. A fully salaried sales force was hired, hand-picked for their dedication and professionalism. This expansion was very successful, exceeding expectations within the first year.

During 1999, G & D set up an association of sales brokers across Canada. These associated brokers were also hand-picked with an eye to providing superior customer service throughout the country. Now G&D provides full sales coverage for all of Canada.
